Welcome

Linsell Lodge Aged Care Centre offers a supportive lifestyle in a community setting, and our home is designed with residents’ comfort, security and sense of belonging in mind. The Centre is located closeby to pristine parklands and we have a range of our own outdoor seating areas with spacious landscaped gardens and a gazebo for our residents to enjoy. All rooms have a view of our gardens with large windows for plenty of natural light.

Our Centre is homely whilst also incorporating the most up to date design for residential aged care, including our dining room designed based on resident input, wide corridors and high ceilings. We also have our own café located onsite. Conveniently located, we are close to public transport and other local services.

We have close ties with the local community, and over time, we have built a credible reputation as an organisation that genuinely cares for others in need without discrimination. We also recognise the importance of family and friends and encourage them to be a part of our community.

Our Services

At Linsell Lodge Aged Care Centre, we offer permanent residential care including dementia care and palliative care; and respite (short-term) careWe also offer eligible residents in-house NDIS services.

Our staff and Chaplains go beyond the clinical to cater for the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our residents. You are sure to feel right at home with our friendly, dedicated and qualified staff and person-centred model of care.

Each staff member has undergone reference and security checks to ensure they are fully qualified, experienced and are passionate about working in the aged care sector. Our staff undergo ongoing training as well to make sure they are up to speed with the latest processes and knowledge. Emotional intelligence and sensitivity to diversity are other key factors that we take into consideration when recruiting staff into our Centre community.

All rooms at Linsell Lodge Aged Care Centre have private ensuites and large windows for plenty of natural light and garden and courtyard views. All rooms are equipped with a 24-hour emergency call system for added peace of mind.

*All items must meet the Centre's work, health and safety guidelines. 

Our approach to dementia care is led by each resident’s interests, feelings and emotions. We respect the rich lives they have led by tailoring our care based on their personal history in a dedicated dementia-friendly environment as environment can have a big impact on quality of life. 

Meals are cooked daily onsite by a qualified chef in consultation with the dietician. The menu is regularly rotated to promote choice and take advantage of what is in season. Each meal has a selection of high protein, vegetarian and modified options. We also cater for special dietary and cultural requirements. 

Nutrition programs can also be organised as required.

We take fun quite seriously! The Centre has a dedicated Lifestyle team that organises daily activities based on the suggestions of residents via resident meetings, including outings, animal therapy, music therapy, art therapy, regular visiting entertainers, concerts, onsite markets and many more.

We offer:

  • Recreational room for individual and/or group activities
  • Centre bus 
  • Hairdressing salon
  • Delivery of books from the local library
  • Programs with local schools e.g. pen pals
  • Plenty of outdoor living areas
  • Visitors’ lounge
  • Computer corner

We have a dedicated physiotherapy space as well as many regular exercise programs in place each day and weekly exercise circuit with a physiotherapist.

Scheduled visits from the local GP and other Allied Health services as needed, including physiotherapist, podiatrist and speech therapist. We have our own doctor’s room and clinic onsite, and our physiotherapist visits 5 days a week in our physio hub.

We have a holistic model of care. The Centre Chaplains play an important role in bringing this to life. We also have a chapel onsite. Whatever your beliefs, our Chaplains are here to assist in your spiritual and emotional journey, if you wish - because we don't have clients, only family.
