Fellows Scholarship Recipients 2018

The Salvation Army (TSA) Fellows Program, sponsored by Aged Care Plus, offers employees, officers and volunteers of The Salvation Army a scholarship of up to $5,000 to be used toward professional development. This scholarship can be used to fund further study, enrol in a training course, sign up to attend a conference or begin a research project.

Since launching this annual program in 2011, Fellows has invested over $400,000 into the professional development of employees, officers and volunteers - enabling them to advance in their career, and most importantly, to enrich the services we provide to the people we support through the work of The Salvation Army.

Applications are evaluated by a panel of 7 leaders and experts from Aged Care Plus Executives, TSA Human Resources, Eva Burrows College, and considered on the basis of the applicant's contribution to TSA, their expertise, accomplishments, work performance and the positive impact on TSA from their professional development and shared learnings.

This year we received a record number of 75 applications from both Eastern and Southern Territories of TSA - a Fellows first, as well as a significant increase from previous years. The sheer volume of interest as well as the high calibre of applications are a testament of a highly engaged workforce across the Army, who are dedicated to improvement.
