Our committed and caring staff

The people who work in our Aged Care Centres are very special people!

At The Salvation Army Aged Care Plus, we are committed to ongoing staff development. Regular training and in-service days help ensure staff and management personnel stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Our staff offer a listening ear and a caring heart as well as a helping hand!

The expectation is that our care staff hold a Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care. We also employ nursing staff, catering and maintenance staff. In Queensland and ACT, staff are covered by enterprise agreements.

Because the provision of emotional and spiritual care is such an integral part of The Salvation Army, each of our centres has chaplaincy staff who work to help keep residents linked to their local faith community, offer counselling and care, and run Bible studies and worship services.
