Aged Care Plus CEO Sharon Callister Tenders Resignation
Earlier this week, Aged Care Plus announced Sharon Callister tendered her resignation as Chief Executive Officer of The Salvation Army Aged Care Plus after 10 years service.
As CEO, Sharon has been the driving force behind Aged Care Plus' transformation into an award-winning, industry-leading enterprise.
The impact of Aged Care Plus under Sharon has extended beyond the aged care industry. The annual Aged Care Plus Walkathon has raised over $600,000 for vulnerable communities.
The Hope and a Future program introduced in 2014 has seen 24 young people from Papua New Guinea being provided the opportunity to undertake leadership development and participate in a life changing experience, the Gold Coast Airport Marathon.
The Fellows Program, which Sharon introduced in 2011, has seen 115 Salvation Army employees undertake training and development in their areas of expertise.
We thank Sharon for her dedication to both Aged Care Plus and the wider Salvation Army, and wish her well for the future.
Sharon's last day with Aged Care Plus was Friday 23 February 2018.
