Aged Care Plus Turns the Sod on New Mossman Development

More than 100 members of the local Douglas Shire community joined The Salvation Army Aged Care Plus in August to 'turn the sod' on the new residential aged care centre in Mossman, Queensland. The Salvation Army's Chief Secretary-in-Charge, Colonel Mark Campbell, officiated the ceremony which celebrated the start of construction for the new centre.

The new 42-bed centre, which is scheduled to be complete in the second half of 2017, will provide all aged care services and includes dedicated places to meet the needs of local indigenous people.
