Happy Aged Care Employee Day!

Today, we proudly celebrate Aged Care Employee Day and recognise the incredible contribution each Aged Care staff members makes to the lives of older Australians every day.

Whether they work directly with residents and clients or support our services behind the scenes, their care, commitment and dedication help create safe, respectful and meaningful experiences for those we serve. The difference they make extends far beyond tasks and responsibilities. It is seen in the relationships they build, the comfort they provide and the compassion they show.

To help celebrate the day, celebrity chef and restaurateur, Gary Mehigan, one of the original judges of the Network 10 series MasterChef Australia, has filmed a special message of thanks dedicated to Salvos Aged Care staff.
