Intergenerational Fun at Aged Care Plus

In March, The Cairns Aged Care Plus Centre at Chapel Hill, hosted their first 'Music and Play Group' which welcomed parents and their pre-school aged children to enjoy time with the residents through music and fun. Held every Tuesday morning, the initiative connects the young and old through a variety of activities. Captains Jeff and Terri Goodwin said all who attended had a great time. "This is a wonderful program not only for the mums and their children from the community, but also for our residents. There were so many smiles shared between our residents and the families attending," they said.
