As a Care Service Employee (also known as a Carer, Care Worker, Support Worker, Care Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Assistant or Residential Care Worker), you will be integral to the daily operations of our Aged Care Centres. Your work will be guided by our person-centered care model enabling our residents to live their most fulfilling lives.  

You will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and be responsible for the delivery of personal care and assistance to meet their individual needs. The role is to deliver homely and loving environments by providing care with compassion, respect, integrity and dignity.

Thi Lan-Chiem is one of our longest-serving employees.

“With all the years that I have been working with The Salvation Army Aged Care, I most enjoy working with the residents; looking after them like my own family,” Lan says. “The most rewarding part of my job is to see all the residents I care for happy and satisfied.”
