Macquarie Lodge Fete
On Saturday 10 November, Macquarie Lodge Residential Centre and Retirement Village hosted a successful Fete and Open Day, attracting just over 100 people from the local community, as well as the residents who live there.
With a live Salvation Army band, free sausage sizzle, fairy floss stand, face painting, and coffee cart, staff and residents from Macquarie Lodge enjoyed the flow of visitors throughout the day.
Connecting the old with the new, the Fete and Open Day featured the beautiful Dappeto House, which was built in 1885, while offering the opportunity to experience a personalised tour of the newly built Independent Living Units, which have a limited number left to be sold.
