Welcome

Located in the beautiful town of Mossman, Kubirri Aged Care Centre provides the best of both worlds. The single-level Centre has a tranquil backdrop of the Mossman River, with views of the rainforest and surrounding greenery, whilst being only a couple of minutes away from the Mossman town centre, hospital and local attractions including the beautiful Mossman Gorge.

The Centre has been designed in consultation with the community and industry experts, making it perfect for aged care in the tropics including spacious rooms and communal areas, modern design, expansive gardens and wide corridors. Our Centre offers a modern, warm and inviting atmosphere that gives our residents a good mix of privacy as well as several indoor and outdoor communal areas to help them stay connected and feel included. The design also leads the way with sustainable design to minimise our environmental footprint.

At Kubirri Aged Care Centre, we are an inclusive community and acknowledge our residents have led rich lives and strive to promote a culture of choice through our services and amenities. Our Lifestyle team organise a dynamic program and try to create as many opportunities as possible to help our residents be active and live their best life, where in which they can participate as much as they wish. We have a dedicated team of nurses and care staff, and our management team are always accessible and onsite, willing to help our residents in whatever way they can.

Our staff and residents are like family and we have strong ties with the local community. Our residents and staff often partake in many community events and projects, and over time we have built a credible reputation as an organisation that genuinely cares for others in need without discrimination. We also recognise the importance of family, friends and the local community and welcome them to be an active part of our family.

You’re sure to feel right at home!
