About

Located in the beautiful town of Mossman, Kubirri Aged Care Centre will provide the best of both worlds. The Centre has a tranquil backdrop of the Mossman River, views of open farmlands and yet is only a couple of minutes away from the Mossman town centre, hospital and local attractions.

In consultation with the community, industry experts and peers, Kubirri was designed for aged care in the tropics. Our home will offer a warm, inviting community atmosphere. The aim is to make residents feel at home, have more privacy and stay connected. The Centre also leads the way with a sustainable design to minimise our environmental footprint.

Features will include:

  • 42 spacious, furnished single rooms with en-suite facilities
  • Emergency call bell system
  • TV and wireless connection
  • Generous and stylish communal areas including resident kitchen, lounge areas, multipurpose rooms and sensory gardens.

Our Services

We screen and hire only qualified and compassionate staff to deliver our person-centred model of care.

Kubirri Aged Care Centre will cater for all residential aged care services including palliative care and respite (short term) care.

Life in Our Centre

Kubirri Aged Care Centre will offer rooms with en-suite facilities and sunny, external views.

Residents can get pampered in the hair salon or enjoy some quiet time in the gardens or the chapel. For the social butterflies, we will have regular bus tours and community projects as well as various recreational activities at the Centre. Interactive games and fitness activities are carefully planned and organised by our recreational and lifestyle teams and are part and parcel of the daily routine in all our centres.

Over time we have built a credible reputation as an organisation that genuinely cares for others in need without discrimination. Our staff and chaplains go beyond the clinical needs to cater for the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of our residents. We offer choice and diversity to all residents to ensure that their quality of life is maintained at optimum level. We also recognise the importance of family, friends and the local community and welcome them to be an active part of our family.

You’re sure to feel right at home!

Please feel free to contact us to enquire and to get on the waiting list for a tour.
