The exteriors are reminiscent of classic Australian homes, whilst each villa has been fitted with modern, age-friendly kitchens and quality appliances plus open-plan living and dining spaces. Each villa also has its own outdoor living area and garage or carport.

Experience continuity of care as your needs change at Riverview Gardens Retirement Village. Government-subsidised Support at Home services are available through Salvos Home Care. The team's office is co-located with the Village team's office, and you can access services such as nursing care, health therapies, personal care, help with housework or extra help after a hospital stay, all while continuing to live independently. 

If a short-term care stay is needed, or if you or your partner requires permanent care, support is nearby at Riverview Gardens Aged Care Centre. This means one partner can remain living independently in the Village, with the reassurance that their loved one is receiving 24-hour care closeby.

Retirement Living FAQ

Facilities at Riverview Gardens Retirement Village include a village bus, community hall, library, BBQ facilities, outdoor seating, chapel and vegetable gardens.

All activities are decided by residents and include but are not limited to craft groups, exercise classes and outings.

Maintenance, gardening and assistance from the Village team are also included.

Pets are allowed, but firstly need to be approved before you move in. Please discuss this with our team before deciding. 

Of course! Guests are welcome to stay in your villa, but please let the Village team know in advance of their stay.  

Your safety and security are our top priorities. All villas at Riverview Gardens Retirement Village have a 24-hour emergency call bell system and diamond security on the doors and windows for peace of mind. There are also CCTV cameras around the village, and all villas have their own lockboxes. 

Yes, you may be able to make slight changes to your home, but you must first seek approval from the village team before proceeding. 

Yes, there is a resident committee at Riverview Gardens Retirement Village. 

At Riverview Gardens Retirement Village, residents are not responsible for any capital loss if the value of their residence decreases. As part of this arrangement, residents do not receive any capital gain if the value increases.

Riverview Gardens Retirement Village operates under a Loan Licence agreement. There are also four main categories of costs when moving into the Village: upfront deposits, an ingoing contribution, general services charges and a deferred management fee.
