Comfort, care and connection at Riverview Gardens Retirement Village

Practical, comfortable homes that have been designed with you in mind. Riverview Gardens Retirement Village blends the best of both worlds, offering a relaxed country atmosphere that is just a stone’s throw away from the convenience of the city.

The Village is surrounded by sweeping green parklands and native bushland. Our two-bedroom villas offer perfectly sized homes for you to downsize and embrace your retirement.

Genuine value, without paying for extras you may never use - a home that is truly yours.

A warm, welcoming community

Join in on the ladies’ knit and natter group, help with the harvest in the communal veggie gardens, attend a celebratory lunch or hop on one of the regular bus trips. Stay active, meet like-minded people or simply settle into the quiet contentment of your own home.

Maybe you need someone to walk the dog or tend to your plants while you’re on holiday – your friendly neighbours have got you covered. You’ll be supported by the trusted experience of The Salvation Army Aged Care and the care and connection this brings.

You can enjoy maintenance-free living with more time to do what you like. Drop by the Village office if you have any requests - our Village Manager is here to help.

You’re sure to feel at home.

Support for today and tomorrow

Experience continuity of care as your needs change. Government-subsidised Support at Home services are available through Salvos Home Care. The team's office is co-located with the Village team's office, and you can access services such as nursing care, health therapies, personal care, help with housework or extra help after a hospital stay, all while continuing to live independently.

If a short-term care stay is needed, or if you or your partner requires permanent care, support is next door at Riverview Gardens Aged Care Centre. This enables one partner to remain living independently in the Village, with the reassurance that their loved one is receiving 24-hour care so nearby.

Experience a community that can support you for life, with care that adapts to you as your needs change.
