Welcome

Woodport Aged Care Centre is a warm and vibrant home with a strong sense of community and belonging. Located in Erina on the picturesque Central Coast, we are close to Erina Fair Shopping Centre, Gosford City, Terrigal Beach and local services, and access to public transport is right outside the Centre. We have beautiful onsite gardens and courtyards and are equipped with our own koi pond and teahouse, providing an idyllic atmosphere for our residents in coastal NSW.

Our residential aged care centre is managed by a team of professionals who go beyond the clinical to make certain that residents feel comfortable, safe and loved.

We recognise the importance of family and friends to our residents' wellbeing and encourage them to be an integral part of our community. We also have strong ties and work closely with the local community, and over time have built a reputation as an organisation that provides quality care and genuinely cares for others in need without discrimination.

Our Services

At Woodport Aged Care Centre, we offer permanent residential care including memory support and palliative care; and respite (short-term) care. We also offer eligible residents in-house NDIS services.

Compassionate, holistic care is what we are all about, with a Lifestyle team and Chaplains on board dedicated to providing fun activities and emotional support, in addition to clinical care. Feel right at home with our friendly, compassionate and qualified staff and our person-centred model of care. Each staff member has undergone reference and security checks to ensure they are fully qualified, experienced and are passionate about working in the aged care sector. Our staff undergo ongoing training as well to make sure they are up to speed with the latest processes and knowledge. Emotional intelligence and sensitivity to diversity are other key factors that we take into consideration when recruiting staff into our aged care facility.

Our facility offers a range of spacious and affordable rooms with private or shared ensuite. Residents can also enjoy garden and/or courtyard views. Each room has:

  • Telephone, TV and WiFi connections available
  • Built-in cupboards
  • Electronically adjustable beds
  • Air conditioning

This is your home, you are most welcome to bring in your own favourite items - photos, mementos and accessories to dress the room to your own taste and preferences. *

*All items must meet the Centre's work, health and safety guidelines.

Meals are cooked daily onsite by a qualified chef in consultation with the dietician. The menu is regularly rotated to promote choice and take advantage of what is in season. Each meal has a selection of high protein, vegetarian and modified options. We also cater for special dietary and cultural requirements.

Nutrition programs can also be organised as required.

We take fun quite seriously! The Centre has a dedicated Lifestyle team that organises daily activities based on the suggestions of residents via resident meetings including animal therapy, music therapy, art therapy, crafts, visiting entertainers, discussion groups with our Chaplain, special celebrations, gardening and collaborations and projects with local schools and community groups.

Residents can enjoy outings in our Centre bus and quiet time in our communal area with books and activities. We also have an onsite hairdressing salon, lawn bowl, garden rooms and recreational room.

We hold regular exercise classes and have an onsite physiotherapist and also offer heat therapy and pain management.

Scheduled visits from the local GP and other Allied Health services as needed, including physiotherapist, podiatrist, occupational therapist, optometrist and audiologist.

We have a holistic model of care. The Centre Chaplains play an important role in bringing this to life. We also have a chapel onsite. Whatever your beliefs, our Chaplains are here to assist in your spiritual and emotional journey, if you wish - because we don't have clients, only family.
